Restorative Yoga Teacher Training-Level 2

Are you ready to deepen your relationship with rest and refine your teaching skills?

This training is for Yoga Teachers who have already completed a foundational Restorative Yoga training, or who have been teaching Restorative Yoga poses in their classes for at least six months. Come together in this experiential weekend to expand your knowledge and expertise in teaching the art of deep relaxation.

In this three-day training, we’ll explore:

• A deeper dive into nervous system anatomy/physiology and the relaxation response (including the vagus nerve, diaphragm, and psoas);
• Therapeutic poses and sequences for common aches/pains, insomnia/sleep, digestion, pre/postnatal, cancer treatment, anxiety, and trauma;
• Intentional sequencing inspired by the chakra system, ayurveda, Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), and more; 
• Artful languaging, cues, and guided meditation.

Included in this weekend is ample time for Q&A, talking through teaching experiences and challenges, and practice teaching. We’ll review foundational postures (as requested) and add new poses and modifications to your repertoire.

Come prepared to explore, experience, and deepen your understanding of this powerfully healing practice.

Registration Prerequisite: 200HR Yoga Teacher Certification and either completion of a foundational Restorative Yoga training, or at least six months of experience teaching Restorative Yoga postures.
