She began teaching in 2010 after an amazing 200-hour YTT in Costa Rica with Marianne Wells, and she returned in 2013 to complete her 500-hour certification with a focus in yoga therapy. Since then, Morgan has earned multiple certifications in Restorative and Myofascial Release Yoga, studying with master teachers including Amy Weintraub, Sudha Carolyn Lundeen, Jillian Pransky, and Tiffany Cruikshank (Yoga Medicine®). Also a licensed massage therapist since 2011 (with advanced training in myofascial release, oncology and prenatal massage, craniosacral therapy and reiki), her love of bodywork and energy work is evident in her yoga classes.
Morgan’s passion as a yoga teacher lies in working with the nervous system and sharing the immense benefits of intentional rest, stress release, and deep relaxation. These practices have played a huge part in shaping Morgan’s work with The Gloria Gemma Breast Cancer Resource Foundation, offering yoga classes to cancer survivors since 2013. She recognizes the power of movement, breath, and meditation to transform a person’s energy and outlook, and dedicates her classes to creating the space for these shifts to occur.
